On the day of the wedding, Neil felt more like a member of the family than a photographer. He blended into the day seamlessly and we enjoyed every second of him being there. If you want beautiful, natural photos to remind you of your special day then Neil is the photographer for you.”
I’m easy to get on with, kind to small children and animals and I’m not a big fan of hearing my own voice. I know when to be quiet and when to stand on a chair to be heard – I rarely get the two occasions mixed up!
All my equipment is Pro Level. I also have spares. Lots of spares. I could probably carry less equipment to be fair. If you are interested I shoot two Canon 5D Mk iii’s, I use L series lenses or their equivalent, and have backups for everything.
On your Wedding Day, I am recording to two memory cards at the same time. Back in the office your images are copied to 3 different hard drives, one goes in the fire-safe, one goes to an off-site storage facility and one lives on my desk. There is another complete copy uploaded to a secure server in Canada, you know, just in case the British Isles sink into the sea.
I complete all the editing myself, I don’t use external companies unless you request an express service.
I’m pretty quick at getting your images out to you. 4-6 weeks out of season and 8-10 weeks during the silly season.
I make the pretty pictures while my Business Manager (and wife) Sam keeps us organised and tells me where to be and when. I have a regular team of second shooters and am currently mentoring a couple of new photographers who are learning the ropes.
