Le Gothique Wedding Photographer

Alex & Carla’s wedding day was one of those rare London days where everything just worked. Beautiful people, meaningful moments, and hot, dry weather that made Le Gothique at the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building look absolutely incredible.
The day started separately, with Carla getting ready at her mum’s house, surrounded by calm energy and the kind of quiet excitement that builds as the dress goes on. Across London, Alex was getting ready at Alison’s house, his step-mum, where the mood was relaxed but full of anticipation. Two very different mornings, both setting the tone for what was to come.

Le Gothique is always a standout venue, but hosting their ceremony outdoors in one of the internal courtyards really elevated the day. With the Victorian architecture wrapping around them and the sun doing its thing, Alex & Carla exchanged vows in front of family and friends in a space that felt both intimate and grand at the same time. It was warm, personal, and full of emotion.
After the ceremony, we made the most of the weather with portraits outside, using the dramatic backdrop of the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building. The mix of historic architecture, open space, and relaxed energy suited Alex & Carla perfectly. Nothing forced, just them enjoying the moment together.

The cake cut took place outside in the garden, keeping the celebrations flowing naturally through the day, before everyone moved inside for the evening party. The first dance was a proper highlight, followed by a beautiful and emotional mother-daughter dance that had more than a few people reaching for tissues.

From start to finish, this wedding felt effortlessly them. Thoughtful, joyful, and full of moments that mattered. Alex & Carla, thank you for trusting me to tell the story of such a brilliant day at one of London’s most striking venues.
